In January 2014, Shandong Center for Software Engineering and Technology was established under the approval of Shandong Economic and Trade Commission.
In January, the company's inverter products were rated as "Shandong Famous Brand Products".
In October, the company's "regenerative braking energy absorption inverter device" was included in the national torch plan project.

In March 2013, WindSun’s 35kV direct mounting SVG project and high voltage inverter for synchronous motors were included into Provincial Technical Innovation Plan.

In April 2006, WindSun offered a supportingequipment, which is fast control power supply for plasma vertical movement, forExperimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak, an important research project under the National 863 Plan, assumed by Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
In July 2006, China’s first “renewable energy feedback device” independently designed and manufactured by WindSun was put into use in metro.

In November 2006, WindSun delivered “inverters and their grid switching systems” for the 500kW superconducting energy storage system developed by Institute of Electrical Engineering Chinese Academy of Sciences.
In June 2005, WindSun hoist-dedicated high voltage variable frequency speed controller was incorporated into National Torch Plan and its variable frequency heating power supply was assessed as a national key new product by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
In December 2005, according to expert basement, its new products, i.e., drilling rig dedicated INVERTER and hoist dedicated high voltage inverter, ranked high among similar products in China.
In January 2004, invited by Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology,Tsinghua University, WindSun percolated in a key high-tech breakthrough project in energy field under National “863” Plan for the “10th Five Year Plan”: the research into and making of the electromagnetic bearing system for 10MW direct cycle Helium turbine power generation system of high temperature gas cooled reactor(HTR-10GT).
In August 2004, the Company was restructured, and then Shandong WindSunScience& Technology Development Co., Ltd. was set up.
In October 2004, China’s first 6kv hoist-dedicated high voltage inverter was delivered.
In December 2004, Shandong Department of Science and Technology approved the formation of Shandong Center for Research and Application of inverter Technology based on WindSun.
