In April 2003, its high voltage inverter was included into a national key new product by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
In May, it work together with Shandong University in developing 6-10 kV multi-level (5-level or 7-level) high and middle voltage large capacity inverter.
In November , it became a founder of variable frequency power supply and electric transmission committee in Shanghai under China Power Supply Society.
In December 2003, upon invitation, it participated in drafting and review national standard for high and middle voltage inverter; its cooperation with Shandong University gave birth to a new variable frequency heating power supply in China.
In January, cooperating with Shanghai Jiaotong University and Anhui University of Technology, WindSun developed methods and devices for grid reactive power compensation; and it was invited to draft and review national standard for low voltage inverter, manifesting its technological strength for the first time.
In April 2002, Shandong WindSun Electronics Co., Ltd. was restructured and established.
In July, 2002, its hoist-dedicated inverter was evaluated as a national key new product by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
In December 2002, its first 10 kV high voltage inverter provided successful performance; inverter’s voltage created another new high record.
In September , the company cooperated with Dagang Oilfield Drilling and Production Design Institute to successfully develop a linear motor inverter.
In March, 2000, WindSun produced China’s first inverter dedicated for low voltage hoists was successfully put into service in Bao’an Coal Mine of Shandong Huaning Mining Group Co., Ltd.
In October, 2000, it first 6kV high voltage inverter was successful in Liaohe Oil Field, creating the first application of its high voltage product.
In November, the first 1140V medium-voltage inverter with a three-level topology was mainly used in oilfield submersible electric pumps.
In July, 1999, WindSuntook the lead in development of three-level middle-voltage inverter which were successfully operated in Shengli Oil Field and then widely applied in oil fields, making itbeing streets ahead of peers.
In order to get the enterprise out of the predicament and turn the loss into a profit, it was finally decided by the competent department to investigate and recommend that Comrade He Hongchen, who was only in his early 30s, came to Wenshang Radio Factory to serve. But it was this personnel arrangement that changed the future and fate of Wenshang Radio Factory.
