WindSun Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise under Yankuang Group, specializing in the research and development, production, sales and service of power electronics energy-saving control technology and related products.

WindSun is the national standard drafting unit for frequency converters, the national standard starting, drafting and formulating unit for rail transit braking energy absorption devices, and the main drafting unit for power quality industry standards，the deputy chairman unit of the frequency converter branch of the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association，and has established several platforms, such as Academician Workstation of Power Electronics Technology and New Energy Equipment in Shandong Province, National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for New Energy and Efficient Energy Conservation, Power Quality Engineering Laboratory in Shandong Province, Frequency Conversion Speed Regulation Technology Research and Promotion Center in Shandong Province, Power Electronics and Frequency Conversion Engineering Technology Research Center in Shandong Province, Software Engineering Technology Center in Shandong Province, Certified Enterprise Technology Center in Shandong Province. It has been awarded with one of the first Innovative Enterprises and Double-Software Enterprises in Shandong.

The products of the Company mainly include various high , middle and low voltage inverter, high and low voltage dynamic reactive compensation devices (SVG), Rail transit Brake energy absorption devices, high-end customized power supplies, flameproof and explosion-proof devices, energy storage converter devices, which are broadly used in electricity, coal, metallurgy, mining, cement, petroleum, chemical engineering, municipal facilities, solar power generation and rail transit systems. The Company has a high-quality scientific research team with rich experience, courage to practice and continuous innovation, which can tailor products and solutions for customers in speed regulation, energy conservation, intelligent control, improvement of power quality, energy conservation of rail transit, etc.

WindSun has obtained certificates for ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environment management system and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system. In 2007, WindSun series inverter accredited by State Administration of Market Regulation (former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine) to be “China Top Brand” and received the “Important Energy Saving Prize of Shandong”. In 2009, WindSun was granted the honor of “The Most Influential Brand in Chinese Electric Industry”. From 2009, it has been rated as "Top Ten Brands of China's Frequency Converter User Satisfaction" by industry authorities for many years. On July 16, 2015, its rail transit regenerative braking energy absorption inverter device passed CE acceptance and granted the CE marking. In December, 2016, WindSun was assessed as a state-level contract-keeping company. In 2017, it became a “leading company in intellectual property rights”. In March, 2018, it received the “intelligent manufacturing service prize” in automation and intelligent manufacturing service field and as assessed as one of “top 100 suppliers” in China’s cement industry. Also, it was a nominee of the 6th and 7th Shandong Governor Quality Prizes. The national standard "GB / T 37423-2019 Urban Rail Transit Regenerative Brake Energy Absorption Inverter" drafted by company was officially released on May 10, 2019, and officially implemented on December 1, 2019.

Insofar, it has received 1 second prize for National Technological Invention and 4 prizes for Shandong Technological Progress, with 5 national key important products, 3 products included into National Torch Plan, 2 projects funded by Technological Innovation Foundation for Middle and Small Enterprises under Ministry of Science. Furthermore, it has participated in 3 “863” plan projects and 1 engineering project under the National Big Science plan.
